Hannah Christian was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma, bone cancer in 2008. After many rounds of chemotherapy and an amputation of her right leg, Hannah is cancer free! The Emily Yott Foundation helped pay for Hannah’s new leg in 2010!

Cynthia’s story:

Cynthia is a seven year old and has been diagnosed with brain cancer. Her hobbies include riding her bike, swimming and playing games. Her wish was to go to Disney World, which she, her brother and parents got to do in 2010. Wii’s to Riley
The day before Thanksgiving 2010, The Emily Yott Foundation purchased and delivered 10 Wii Gaming Systems to be installed in rooms on the oncology floor at Riley Hospital for children!

Hailey
Hailey was diagnosed with AT/RT, an aggressive form of brain cancer in September 2008. After many rounds of chemotherapy and proton radiation therapy, sweet Hailey lost her battle with this horrible disease in November 2010. During her short time on this earth, she showed others how to live courageously, love unconditionally, and laugh unceasingly during Hailey’s illness, The Emily Yott Foundation made a donation to help offset travel expenses for out of state treatment.

Keegan Chupp
Keegan was diagnosed at 7 and a half months with Medulloblastoma (brain cancer). Keegan and his family had to travel to Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York for treatment this summer. The Emily Yott Foundation assisted Keegan and his family with money to offset travel expenses.

Lemonade Stand 2011
The Emily Yott Foundation’s 3rd annual Lemonade Stand was held the weekend of May 12, 2011. $7,000 was raised to help support area families going through the devastation that childhood cancer can cause. Some, but not all of the proceeds has gone to pay utility bills, rent and mortgages for families that can’t work while their child is sick. We also gave a scholarship to a high school graduate that is a cancer survivor!

Jacob McConahay
Jacob, has Stage IV Alveolar rhabdomyosarcoma.
Jacob’s treatment regimen included 56 weeks of chemotherapy (yes, 56) and on week 20 radiation began. The Emily Yott Foundation, donated money to help with gas, parking for hospital trips, along with tickets to a Pacer’s Game last winter and most recently helped pay for accommodations for a wish trip to the beach.  Jacob lost his battle to cancer in September 2011.

Spencer
Spencer was diagnosed with brain cancer in April of 2008.  The Emily Yott Foundation helped by paying one of Spencer’s out of town medical bills. Spencer lost his battle to cancer in September of 2011.
